angelus lapsus is a character study that engages with the theme of self-knowledge — with the question of our identity, our origin, and our goal. the film explores how difficult it is to answer these questions when the characters are too preoccupied with the material world. here, the material world includes not only objects or money, but also the social categorizations associated with the characters.

plot: adrian travels through three different spaces in which his relationships with his lover, his wife, and his son, as well as with his mother, take place.
